Version (9) Magazine welcomes your suggested contributions.
Should you feel you have 3-5 poems that would fit our mandate:
- Kindly forward, via email, as an attachment of Microsoft Word to editors.version9magazine@gmail.com
- All submissions should be single spaced in Times New Roman 12 font with one poem per page
- A concise bio statement should be included with your submission
Our final request is that you explain, in the body of your email, what the relation to or influence of theory is to your pieces. It does not matter what the influence or relation is, but that these are indicated and explained. Influences, we recognize, come from varied fields. In a word, inform us how a text, author or school of thought has inspired the creation of your piece in its form, structure and/or subject matter.
Your submission will be read aloud by a panel of readers and so, one tip—the musical, as much as the theoretical, is ever appreciated.
As is to be expected, please refrain from all themes and vocabularies that could be cause of offense on the part of readers.
